Magnolia Ballroom.
I had the privilege and honor of being a part of the magnificent wedding of Jessi and Spencer this past June. I blogged about stunning bridal pictures of Jessi in my previous post.
Hundreds were in attendance for their ceremony at The Christ Church Cathedral in downtown Houston. The oldest church in town served as a gorgeous backdrop for the wedding photos. I’m in, said Jessi, as the zipper of her dress reached the end of its run with the help of her sister and mom…I mean, I have no reason to be nervous because I know. I know there’s no one else but him. And with that, she and a group of girls crossed a busy Texas street from Magnolia hotel and into the Christ Church Cathedral where Jessi blossomed into a Mrs. and shall continue to love Spencer tenderly for as long as they both shall live.
The reception took place at The Historic Magnolia Ballroom in Houston, Tx. The Magnolia Ballroom has hosted some of Houston’s most important, elegant and fun private events. Wedding ceremonies and receptions, corporate events, banquets, holiday parties, anniversaries, birthdays, political and non-profit fundraisers ~ just some of the galas enjoyed in the beautiful and romantic space.
Since high school, Spencer has always taken care of Jessi in such a tender and caring way that it was no surprise when he asked for her hand in marriage ~ first checking in with Jessi’s father Steve over a beer who gave Spencer the wise piece of advice at the wedding reception: “Without deposit there is no withdrawal”. It was fitting for the two of them to host nothing but a tender and caring wedding with no detail overlooked.
Jessi and Spencer, I hope you had a wonderful time in Mexico on your honeymoon and I wish you the best as you carve your new lives together in Houston, Texas. We enjoyed your wedding and spending the day with you both. We can’t wait to do photography sessions with you in the future! Much Love… SGI
